    Bedrooms
Villa Nusa has two master bedroom suites on the ground floor, with big double beds, a/c, lots of cupboard space and ‘in and outdoor’ bathrooms with huge stone baths and deluge showers. Upstairs, the mezzanine has two large open plan spaces which provide another spacious double bedroom with an ensuite shower room, and an informal lounge/TV/games room, which can also be used as a further double or twin bedded room. The two rooms are linked by a bridge which opens onto a spacious balcony, the full length of the building, offering the most spectacular, panoramic views of the north of Nusa Lembongan, the rollers coming in at famous surfing spots like Lacerations and Shipwrecks, and the hills along the east coast of Bali – a perfect setting for breakfast or sundowners!

There is also an open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen (with breakfast bar) on the ground floor, all of which lead directly onto the white stone terrace, with its sun loungers, snuggle chair (for two!) and Bale giving ample space to stretch out next to your own, very inviting, sparkling, 10metre infinite pool.

Next to Villa Nusa is a smaller Villa, called the Annex. This villa is never rented separately but can be used as additional accommodation for larger gatherings of family or friends or joint holidays with another family. The Annex has a spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area with folding doors opening on to its own infinity pool and large garden with a European style Pergola – perfect for alfresco dining. Through sliding doors from the lounge is the master bedroom suite, with queen size bed, a/c, ‘in and out bathroom’ and large walk-in closet. The Annex also has its own private infinity pool and terrace, looking out over the island, the Badung Straits and Bali beyond. Just let us know your requirements.

Here you will find hotels, bars and restaurants, spas, dive centres, boat hire, surfing instruction and other visitor facilities. To the west and south of the island, there are a number of popular beach resorts with a variety of restaurants and bars just steps from the water’s edge. Many offer door to door complimentary transport services to save you worrying about wobbling home in the dark!

The Island Nusa Lembongan

Just 17 kilometres to the east of Bali, between Bali and Lombok, is the beautiful little island of Nusa Lembongan which offers visitors a very relaxed, laid-back lifestyle. Surrounded by clear, aqua blue waters the island is famous for its amazing dive sites, great fishing, fantastic snorkelling and world-renowned surf breaks. With no traffic, no nightclubs and no shopping it is a great place to completely relax and take timeout for yourself, your friends and family. The only pressure is to decide whether you want to surf the next great wave or dive with the elusive Mola-Mola or … just remembering the sun cream while you’re lying by the pool with a glass of something cold and a good book!Nusa Lembongan is only 8sq. km but boasts many beautiful white sand beaches, several great local and international bars and restaurants (one run by a Michelin star chef!), and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. The scenery is also stunning and there are many great coastal paths with amazing views of the breakers rolling to shore, the boats that ply between the islands, the seaweed farming that is the main occupation for the islanders and, if you’re lucky, the dolphins playing in the waves, just off shore. The local culture is also very much alive and you are always welcome to join the colourful ceremonies, to listen to the gentle gamelan music coming from the many temples scattered all over the island and to watch the men in their sarongs and the ladies in their traditional dress carrying their towering offerings on their heads… even on the back of a motorbike!.Getting to Nusa Lembongan from Bali is easy and bookings can be made for you with one of the companies offering frequent speed boat crossings every day. It takes only 30 minutes from beach to beach but the island feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of southern Bali. Once on the island most visitors rent a motorbike or mountain bike to get around as there are no cars on the island but a few truck taxis are available and any of these can be arranged for you when you book your stay at Villa Nusa.

Nusa Lembongan Bali

Nusa Lembongan Bali

Nusa Lembongan is a small island off the southeast coast of the main island of Bali. Quickly becoming one of Bali’s most popular attractions, this island paradise is a world away from the hassle and hectic pace of South Bali. Neither hawkers nor traffic mar the magnificent scenery; this is a fine place to just put your feet up and relax. Main activities include surfing, diving and snorkelling. The water is some of the clearest you will find anywhere, and a vivid aqua blue in colour.

Culture and history info

Culture The local Lembonganese are Hindu and visitors will notice little or no difference from the prevailing culture on the Bali mainland. You may be able to catch a cock fight, look out for a crowd of local men! This generates a lot of excitement on this tiny island.
